Nexon and Nexon Games reveal new trailer for The First Descendant at Gamescom 2023


Video game fans have reason to be excited, as publisher Nexon and developer Nexon Games have released a brand new trailer for the third-person cooperative action role-playing game, The First Descendant, as part of the Gamescom 2023: Opening Night Live event. This new trailer not only introduces the game’s gripping story, but also showcases the innovative gameplay mechanics powered by Unreal Engine 5.2.

In words taken from the press release, the new trailer for The First Descendant offers an additional look at the central conflict between the Descendants and alien invaders Vulgus, as they fight for humanity’s last chance at survival and the protection of the continent of Ingris. “The mysterious Ironheart is revealed, a tool with the power to destroy the Vulgus, along with unique character abilities and previews of battles against the towering Colossi,” the statement reads.

The First Descendant will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Those eager to immerse themselves in this experience will be able to participate in the open and cross-platform beta phase, which will take place from September 19 to 25.
