‘Valis: The Fantasm Soldier Collection III’ will be released in December


The Edia company has announced that Valis: The Phantom Soldier Collection III will be released for Nintendo Switch on December 7 in Japan for 8,580 yen. Additionally, a special edition will be available for 16,280 yen, which will include a copy of the game, a two-disc soundtrack CD, a trading card, and the official “My Dear Maiden” commemorative book.

As previously announced, Valis: The Phantom Soldier Collection III will include the following five titles:

  1. The Fantasm Soldier Valis (December 1986, PC-8801, mkIISR)
  2. The Fantasm Soldier Valis (August 1987, Famicom)
  3. Valis: The Fantasm Soldier (July 1989, MSX2)
  4. Valis III (March 1991, Mega Drive)
  5. Super Valis IV (March 1992, Super Famicom)

This release will allow Nintendo Switch players to enjoy a collection of classic games from the Valis series, spanning multiple platforms and decades. The special edition, which includes additional items such as the commemorative book and soundtrack, will provide an even more immersive experience for fans of the series.

The Valis series is known for its action-platforming style of gameplay, as well as its memorable story and characters. This collection will offer players the opportunity to relive or discover for the first time the exciting titles that contributed to the history of video games.
