Developer Alientrap has announced the release date of GUNHEAD, a roguelike first-person shooter that will challenge players to board and neutralize procedurally generated alien ships to earn income for their privateer company. The game will be available on PC via Steam starting November 8, and players can now enjoy a demo on PC.
About GUNHEAD: An Epic Challenge in Alien Space
GUNHEAD is a first-person shooter with roguelike elements that sees players board procedurally generated alien starships in order to earn income for their privateer company. It won’t be an easy task, however, as the decaying alien ships will defend themselves with a vast arsenal of cybernetic monstrosities, robots, and security systems. These obstacles must be overcome to achieve the ultimate victory: the destruction of the central core of the ship system.
GUNHEAD is a sequel to Alientrap’s previous game, Cryptark, and expands its fast-paced, strategic 2D gameplay into a first-person roguelike experience. Players can expect an exciting combination of strategy, action, and roguelike elements in this game.
The demo is now available for those who wish to experience a preview of the action that GUNHEAD has to offer. With the full release scheduled for November 8 on Steam, fans of shooters and roguelike games will have the opportunity to embark on an exciting adventure in alien space.
