Developer Polyscape has revealed that the roguelike action game “MISTROGUE: Mist and the Living Dungeons” will leave its Early Access phase and officially launch for PC via Steam in October at a price of $12.99 or 1,500 yen. This exciting title will be available in English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese, providing language options to a global audience. In addition, a special discount has been planned for its launch.
“MISTROGUE: Mist and the Living Dungeons” debuted in Early Access on Steam on April 24, and the full version will feature exciting new features. It will include a boss fight mode called “The Battle Road,” which will be available after completing the main story. A skill building item called the “Skill Book” will also be introduced, which will serve as a guide to semi-automatically set up skills as you progress through missions.
The game, as described on the Steam page, is an exciting real-time action game inspired by the Mystery Dungeon series and titles like “Shiren the Wanderer” and “Torneko’s Great Adventure.” Players take on the role of Mist, who explores real-time generated dungeons in search of rare items, all while facing constant danger.
A unique feature of “MISTROGUE” is the ability to combine skills associated with acquired equipment to create a unique skill compilation. Additionally, Mist’s level resets every time he returns to town. This adds an extra layer of strategy, as players must decide when to return to town so as not to risk losing items and money earned during the current race.
The full release of “MISTROGUE: Mist and the Living Dungeons” promises to provide an exciting experience for roguelike action game lovers, with an affordable price and multiple language options. The mysterious and challenging world of living dungeons awaits, with adventures full of danger and rewards.
