SFB Games announces Crow Country, a survival horror game with PlayStation-era aesthetics

Survival horror lovers have a new reason to get excited with the announcement of Crow Country, a survival horror game with an aesthetic reminiscent of the PlayStation era. Studio SFB Games has confirmed that the game will arrive on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam in 2024, promising an immersive and terrifying experience. Eager players can try out a demo available right now on PlayStation 5 and PC.

The game promises to be “the survival horror game you’ve been looking for,” according to Adam Vian, the creative director of SFB Games. “It has really become something special. “I can’t wait for the players to finally get their hands on it,” he added.

The plot of Crow Country places players in 1990, when Edward Crow, the owner of “Crow Country,” a small theme park on the rural outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia, mysteriously disappears. The park had been closed unexpectedly two years earlier. The story follows a mysterious young woman named Mara Forest as she ventures into the heart of the abandoned park in search of answers. The narrative explores unbridled human greed and the idea of an unforgivable sin.

The game promises an experience rich in atmosphere, with a tangible environment and a small but memorable cast of characters. Meaningful exploration, engaging puzzles, and a unique combination of tension and tranquility are central aspects of the gaming experience.

For players who prefer to enjoy the game without facing attacks, Crow Country offers an “Exploration Mode” that will allow them to delve into the story without worrying about being attacked.

With its PlayStation-era aesthetic and intriguing narrative, Crow Country certainly promises an unforgettable horror experience. Fans of the genre can’t wait to delve into this terrifying journey when the game launches in 2024.
