Developer Slow Bros. has announced that the stop-motion animation-inspired adventure game, Harold Halibutwill be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in early 2024.
Game Description: Harold Halibut is a hand-crafted narrative game that explores friendship and life on a city-sized spaceship submerged in an alien ocean. It’s been 250 years since your home, an ark-like spaceship, fled an Earth on the brink of the Cold War in search of a habitable planet to preserve the human race. You are Harold, a young laboratory assistant to the ship’s chief scientist, Jeanne Mareaux. While most of the ship’s inhabitants have resigned themselves to life aboard the submerged ship, Mareaux works tirelessly to find a way for the ship to leave the planet and find a new, drier home.
But the quirky, wonderful, and diverse people of FEDORA I keep Harold busy. Until a fateful encounter plunges Harold into a world that no one could have imagined, and that could hold the key to Mareaux’s relaunch plans. She accompanies Harold as he explores a vibrant retro-futuristic world in his quest to discover the true meaning of “home.”
