Modus Games and Void Bastards developer Blue Manchu have revealed their next title: Wild Bastards, a game that combines strategy and first-person shooter. The launch is scheduled for 2024 and will be available on PC through Steam.
Game Description: Wild Bastards, created by the experienced team behind Void Bastards and Card Hunter, takes you on an exciting journey from planet to planet. The premise of the game is to recruit, manage and fight alongside a team of 13 outlaws, each with their own arsenal, special power and development tree. On the planets, you must obtain loot and trigger confrontations that will develop into intense short-lived firefights.
Once the Wild Bastards were the deadliest gang in the galaxy until a party of the puritan tycoon Jebediah Chaste eliminated one after another of the outlaws. Confronted with their own mortality, the two remaining members have teamed up with the Drifter, a mysterious sentient spaceship, to find and resurrect the gang’s dead members as they flee toward the mythical Homestead.
