Little Nightmares: Enhanced Edition receives rating for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC

The Entertainment Software Rating Board has rated Little Nightmares: Enhanced Edition for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC. This unannounced remaster of the acclaimed Little Nightmares was initially rated for consoles and PC by South Africa’s Film and Publication Board in January.

According to the Entertainment Software Rating Board’s description, this platform adventure game puts players in the role of a girl named Six, who must escape from a nightmarish world. As players navigate the environment, they run, jump, climb, and move stealthily to avoid enemies such as leeches and large humanoid creatures. Being captured usually results in short death scenes, such as corrupted souls devouring Six whole or leeches strangling Six to death.

Some notable sequences include a pool of blood around a defeated boss after Six attacks her out of hunger, and another sequence that allows players to electrocute a character by throwing a television into a pool. In addition, a hanging corpse and various blood stains are depicted in some environments.

It should be noted that Little Nightmares is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC through Steam, iOS through the App Store and Android through Google Play. The Enhanced Edition version promises to offer an improved experience to players on new platforms. More details about this remaster are expected to be revealed soon.
