Half Mermaid Productions has announced that the interactive film trilogy “IMMORTALITY” will be available for PlayStation 5 starting January 23, according to the developer’s statement. “IMMORTALITY” was initially released for Xbox Series, PC via Steam, GOG and Microsoft Store, iOS and Android on August 30, 2022.
“From the beginning of this project, the goal has been to share the life and work of Marissa Marcel with the widest audience possible,” said Sam Barlow, director of “IMMORTALITY,” in a press release. “I’m excited to bring ‘IMMORTALITY’ to PlayStation gamers and put them face to face with a lost legend.”
The plot of “IMMORTALITY” centers on discovering the lost films of Marissa Marcel, from her debut in 1968 in the adaptation of the gothic novel “The Monk” to her last collaboration in 1999 in the subversive thriller “Two of Everything.” None of these films were ever released, and are believed to be lost or destroyed.
The trilogy offers players the unique opportunity to explore the cinematic works of Marissa Marcel in an interactive and immersive way. Sam Barlow expressed his excitement about bringing the experience to PlayStation gamers, giving them the opportunity to discover a lost legend in the world of cinema.
