SUNSOFT announces the release of Ikki Unite for Nintendo Switch on April 18

SUNSOFT has announced that the Switch version of the roguelike action game for up to 16 players, Ikki Unite, will be released on April 18. Additionally, this version will feature cross-play with the existing version for PC (Steam).

About the game

Ikki Unite, the legendary “bad game” (kusoge) that once made people laugh, is back with a vengeance and this time it’s time to join in. In this adventure, autumn brings with it the harvest, a time to rejoice in the fruits of labor, but a plague of locusts sweeps the land. The town is in trouble and yet the tax collectors demand taxes. So let’s start a rebellion to get our rice back and protect our village! This time we are not alone! It’s time to “Ikki Unite” with up to 16 people!

Ikki Unite is a very casual online cooperative game with simple controls and satisfying gameplay. Cooperate and dodge bullets to defeat enemies and collect items! Head towards the Daikan Yashiki! This is roguelike action… but united!

With the inclusion of cross-play between the Switch and PC version, players will be able to join in and enjoy the fun online no matter which platform they choose.

Don’t miss your chance to join this exciting co-op adventure when Ikki Unite arrives on Nintendo Switch on April 18. Prepare for action and camaraderie as you fight against the odds and protect your village!
