Rainbow Moon, a pixel art-style adventure, is coming to Switch and PC this summer

Publisher G-MODE Corporation and developer Shirokurohitsuji have announced that the pixel art adventure game, Rainbow Moonwill be released for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam this summer.

Rainbow Moon, which originally debuted on iOS via the App Store and on Android via Google Play on December 31, 2020, is a multi-ending adventure based on the myth of traditional Japanese gods, the Seven Gods of Life. Fortune. The game follows the story of “Human”, who has been chosen as a god candidate, and the Seven Gods of Fortune, who do not seem to open up to her much. Players will explore a treasure ship and make decisions that change the course of the story, with twenty-two different endings that reveal the true story based on the player’s choices.

The plot begins when the player wakes up in an unknown warehouse with the sound of waves as his only company. He soon encounters the Seven Gods of Fortune, who reveal that the player, known as “Human”, has been chosen to become a god. However, not everyone seems to welcome his sudden appearance. As the game progresses, the player can explore the treasure ship, interact with the gods, and make decisions that will affect the course of the story.

The gameplay allows the player to move around the treasure ship and trigger events by talking to gods and examining objects. Each event is triggered when certain conditions are met, such as the gods’ affection level, weather, and time of day. With time passing faster in the game than in reality, players must stay on top of their food and sleep needs to avoid falling asleep.

Rainbow Moon promises to offer players a unique and exciting experience with its combination of charming pixel art, immersive narrative and multiple endings, and fans of the adventure genre will not want to miss this title this summer.
