Capcom presents extensive gameplay preview and new images for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess

Capcom has released a six-minute “Gameplay Deep Dive” trailer and new screenshots for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, showcasing its unique blend of action and strategy. Explore a fascinating world steeped in Japanese culture and mysticism with the upcoming release of Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess scheduled for this year. Capcom’s latest intellectual property, this single-player action-strategy game will test your strategic skills in this mystical action adventure.

Set on a mountain infected with pollution, players will take on the role of Soh, the protagonist tasked with rescuing the villagers and purifying their villages on Mount Kafuku alongside the Maiden, Yoshiro. As players navigate Mount Kafuku, they will be immersed in dynamic cycles of day and night. During the day, Soh joins the villagers to prepare for an impending battle. As darkness descends, Soh, the villagers, and Yoshiro confront the Seethe and the Festering Seethe, even more powerful enemies infused with the power of the stolen masks.

Harness the power of the Tsuba guards, employ dance-like sword techniques, constantly adapt your battle strategies, and take advantage of the different roles of the villagers to cleanse the mountain. The various roles include woodsmen, archers, and ascetics, each with unique abilities that contribute to the purification of the mountain.

Developed with the power of RE ENGINE, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is scheduled to release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store in 2024. It will also be available through Xbox Game Pass. Get ready to embark on an unforgettable clash, full of strategic challenges and aesthetically immersive gameplay!
