Developer Newcore Games has announced that its 2.5D action adventure platformer, The Devil Within: Satgat, will be released in Early Access for PC via Steam on April 9. According to Newcore Games creative director Manje Lee, “The Devil Within: Satgat is more than just a platformer, it’s a meditation on what makes a man a hero, and what makes a hero a man.”
The Early Access version will contain three “huge” stages, all with unique enemies and bosses, an arsenal of abilities, and a variety of unlockables. It will be updated over the nine to 12 months leading up to its full release, adding new stages and story, new weapons and outfits, new abilities and artifacts, and more.
In The Devil Within: Satgat, players take on the role of Kim Rip, a man at war with himself. When demonic forces break into the world, Royal Guard member Kim Rip must act to save humanity, risking his own life. He will have to cross the earth fighting demonized humans on his way to destroy The Ebon Sting, the source of evil energy unleashed on the world.
The game features multiple weapons to choose from, along with nefarious powers that Kim Rip will gain for each Arch Demon he defeats. As Kim Rip continues to develop his powers, players will have a variety of offensive, defensive, and mobility skills to master. Additionally, the exciting platforming action of The Devil Within: Satgat’s 2.5D world will offer routes that players must earn the right to explore.
Launching soon in Early Access, The Devil Within: Satgat promises to deliver an exciting and challenging experience for players looking for action, adventure and a captivating narrative.
