Eternal Darkness was a cult classic horror title for the Nintendo GameCube and many have been calling for an HD release for years. One person who wants to make this reality is Nightdive Studios CEO, Stephen Kick, who said in a recent video that Eternal Darkness is one of the games at the top of his list for the HD remaster treatment, saying he would “love to see get rereleased.”
“I will say that there’s another game really high on that list, and that would have to be Eternal Darkness. It’s been kinda locked behind the GameCube/Nintendo wall all this time, and it’s something that I would personally love to see get rereleased.”
