Rob Bantin, one of the architects of Ubisoft’s fairly impressive Snowdrop engine, has said that Star Wars Outlaws is a Game-Key Card as the game engine relies heavily on disk streaming for its open worlds and that the Nintendo Switch 2 cartridges were too slow to give the performance they needed to render the environments at speed.
