This means that save data won’t be carried across if you decide to get the Nintendo Switch 2 edition at a later date. This also means that there won’t be an upgrade path from Nintendo Switch to Nintendo Switch 2. This follows a similar process to the upcoming Dragon Quest 1+2 HD-2D Remake.
