Nintendo has announced that Switch user profile icons featuring Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 are being released for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. The first wave will be available starting 24 September 2025, with two more waves rolling out over the coming weeks. These new icons arrive just in time for the launch of Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2 on 2nd October 2025.
For those who don’t know, icons for Nintendo Switch are fully customizable with boarders and backgrounds, which can be purchased using Platinum Points that are earned for free by completing various My Nintendo missions. These can be accessed from the dedicated Nintendo Switch Online menu option located on the bottom left of the Switch home screen.
