Japan: Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 enter at No.2

The latest Japanese video game boxed software and hardware charts have come through from Famitsu. There have been a couple of big releases in the form of Ghost of Yotei (No.1) Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 (No.2) and Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles (No.3). Ghost of Yotei sold by far the most amount of units and easily claimed the top spot. With regards to hardware the best-selling system was the Nintendo Switch 2 which sold 44,439 units, the PlayStation 5 family sold 27,344 units, the Switch family sold 24,109 units, the Xbox Series family sold 837 units, and the PlayStation 4 family sold 19 units.
