Bill Trinen knows fans want Mario Kart World on Nintendo Music

Nintendo of America’s Bill Trinen has taken part in an interview with The Washington Post to chat about the newly announced The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild vinyl collection which will be available in 2026. Talk soon turned to the Nintendo Music app which houses a number of acclaimed soundtracks for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. Mr. Trinen was asked when we can expect the sublime soundtrack of Mario Kart World to appear on the streaming service. He said that he’s fully aware that it would be a much requested addition to the app, but he couldn’t say when it will be added. Here’s what he said:

“I can’t go into too much detail, but I can say that it does actually take time and work to prepare soundtracks for Nintendo Music. And that soundtrack is particularly robust. It’s a matter of looking at the calendar and saying whether something might fit in or not. We’ve certainly heard that people are eager to see that on Nintendo Music.”
