Batman: Arkham trilogy coming to Nintendo Switch in October


Dark Knight fans have reason to be excited, as the acclaimed Trilogy of Batman: Arkham is about to arrive on the console switch the next October 13as announced by the publisher Warner Bros. Games. This epic collection will include the iconic titles: Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knightwith all previously released downloadable content for these three titles.

Each of these games has been adapted for Switch by Turn Me Up Games. Here’s a rundown of what you can expect, according to Warner Bros. Games:

  • Batman: Arkham Asylum marked the beginning of it all in 2009, developed by Rocksteady Studios. The game set the stage for DC’s “Arkhamverse” that fans know and love today. It presented players with a unique, dark and atmospheric adventure that takes them into the depths of the infamous Arkham Asylum. Featuring an original story, players slip into the shadows as Batman to strike fear into enemies and take on The Joker and Gotham City’s most notorious villains, including Harley Quinn, Bane, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy and Scarecrow, who have taken control of the asylum.
  • Batman: Arkham City, Rocksteady Studios’ sequel released in 2011, expands on the intense and atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum. The game sends players flying through expansive Arkham City, the maximum security “home” for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters, and insane master criminals. Featuring an incredible gallery of Gotham City criminals, including Catwoman, The Joker, The Riddler, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze and many others, the game allows players to experience what it’s like to be the Dark Knight and administer justice to those confined in Arkham City.
  • Batman: Arkham Knight raises the stakes for the Dark Knight in the trilogy’s culmination in 2015. In this epic conclusion to the Arkhamverse saga, the fate of Gotham City hangs in the balance as Scarecrow joins forces with the Arkham Knight, making his villainous debut in the Batman Universe. from DC, along with a roster of notorious DC supervillains, including Harley Quinn, The Penguin, Two-Face, Firefly and The Riddler. Accompanying the World’s Greatest Detective are his closest allies, Commissioner Gordon, Oracle, Alfred, Lucius Fox, Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing. The game culminates in the ultimate showdown in Gotham City and introduces players to the full Batman experience with the Batmobile, which can be fully driven throughout the game’s open world and transform from high-speed Pursuit Mode to Military Grade Battle Tank.
