ART Francein collaboration with the developer Fishing Cactus and the co-producers Atlas V, 3dar and Be Revolution Gaminghas revealed the next release of Gloomy Eyes: The Game, a dark narrative puzzle game based on the virtual reality animated film Gloomy Eyes. The game will be available on PC through Steam in 2025.

Gloomy Eyes: The Game tells the moving story of Gloomy, a mysterious zombie boy, and Nena, a young human girl, in a world where the sun has chosen not to rise. The darkness has awakened the dead from their graves, and the living try to drive them away. In the midst of this ongoing conflict between the dead and the living, players will find themselves closely involved with this unusual couple trying to restore light to the world despite fear, tension and hostility.

Using Gloomy and Nena’s unique abilities, players must solve puzzles and help the heroes in their quest to make the sun rise again. They will discover a unique story about loneliness, difference and love as they solve the various puzzles in this dark and poetic narrative game.

Gloomy Eyes: The Game invites players to step into beautifully designed dioramas, thanks to its original art direction and graphic style. These elements are inherited directly from the virtual reality experience that won the “Best Virtual Reality Film” award at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival in 2019.

This game promises to offer a unique and emotional experience, inviting players to explore a rich and visually stunning narrative. Lovers of storytelling and puzzles will find in Gloomy Eyes: The Game a title to look forward to.
