Romance visual novel “Amairo Chocolate” coming to Nintendo Switch on March 28, 2024

Publisher dramatic create and developer Cabbage Soft have announced that the Nintendo Switch version of the romance visual novel “Amairo Chocolate” will be released on March 28, 2024 in Japan, priced at 5,280 yen. The visual novel, which initially launched on PC on January 31, 2020 in Japan, will now come to the hybrid console.

In “Amairo Chocolate”, players immerse themselves in a sweet romantic adventure where the young women who work at Café Setalia are actually therianthropes in disguise. The protagonist discovers his secret and, from that moment on, he collaborates with the girls in the cafe.

The story takes place in the fall, when the leaves begin to change color, and a boy arrives in the town of Yunagi. His first meeting is with a girl handing out flyers, a cute waitress with cat ears. Guided by her, he enters the store and meets another girl with similar ears. Noticing the strangeness in the boy’s reaction, she asks him: “Can you, perhaps, see these ears?” The girls were, in fact, therianthropes; ears and tails that normal humans couldn’t see. Now that he knows their secret, the boy is drawn to work with them at the cafe, discovering all the strange and interesting differences between his races.

“Amairo Chocolate” offers players a typical day at Café Setalia, where romance and magic intertwine in a unique experience. The localized version is now available on Steam thanks to Sekai Project, and now, Nintendo Switch owners will be able to enjoy this captivating visual novel starting March 28, 2024.
