Borderlands 4 delayed for Nintendo Switch 2

Following reports of performance issues on other platforms, Gearbox has announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4 has been delayed to “deliver the best possible experience” to players. Digital pre-orders from the Nintendo eShop will be cancelled and refunds will be issued, but Gearbox has assured that they are committed to polishing up the Switch 2 port for an eventual release and cancellations are due to Nintendo’s policy. Whether or not the studio will actually be able to keep their promise is another story.
