Professor Layton and the New World of Steam now delayed to 2026

Level-5 has announced this morning that the long-awaited Professor Layton and the New World of Steam has suffered yet another delay. The beautiful puzzle centric game has been pushed back to 2026 as Level-5 feels that the game needs a little more time in the oven before release. Naturally the company apologised for the delay and said that they appreciate your understanding and continued support.

“Although the release was originally scheduled for 2025, in order to deliver the game in the best possible form, the launch has been rescheduled for 2026,” LEVEL-5 said in a statement. “We deeply regret any inconvenience this delay may cause and greatly appreciate your understanding and continued support.”
