Ubisoft Milan and Ubisoft, the developers and publishers behind the successful game Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, have announced the release of the third and final downloadable content “Rayman in the Phantom Show”. This new content will be available exclusively on Nintendo Switch starting August 30.
In this exciting expansion, Rayman returns to join Rabbid Mario and Rabbid Peach as they take on the enigmatic Phantom, a fearsome, musically inclined foe who previously appeared in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. In this adventure, independent of the game’s main story, the Phantom now works as a studio director at the dramatic Space Opera Network, a strange television studio full of Easter eggs and props. With the studio’s television ratings in decline, the Phantom needs the help of real stars to help him regain his former glory.
Players will take control of Rayman, Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Mario as they explore all-new levels with vertical exploration in a variety of television studio settings. Rayman will be able to use his helicopter ability with his hair to carry his fellow Heroes with him as he jumps. Plus, you’ll be able to harness the full power of Rayman’s arsenal, from his air-traversing abilities to his unblocking gun, to open up new tactical possibilities during battles.
As for the cast and music, David Gasman reprises his role as Rayman for this downloadable content, which will feature an original soundtrack composed by Christophe Heral (known for Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends) and Grant Kirkhope.
With this innovative new addition to Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, players will be immersed in a completely new gaming experience that will allow them to discover more about the exciting universe of Mario and the Rabbids while taking on unique and vibrant challenges.
