Persona 5 Tactica Reveals Details on Yoshiki Kingdom, New Characters, and Exciting Launch Day DLC

ATLUS has shared new information and screenshots of Persona 5 Tacticsfeaturing more details on the Yoshiki Kingdom, the characters Yusuke Kitagawa, Makoto Niijima, Futaba Sakura and Haru Okumura, combat techniques, enemies and difficulty levels, the fusion of Personas and Lavenza, plus launch day downloadable content that includes Goro Akechi and Kasumi Yoshizawa.

In contrast to the French Revolution setting of Marie’s Kingdom, the Phantom Thieves and Erina now find themselves in a Kingdom that evokes the atmosphere of mid-19th century Japan, the Yoshiki Kingdom. When they encounter a woman in distress, the Phantom Thieves successfully save her, but in the process become wanted criminals. According to Yuki, the woman they rescued, the Kingdom’s ruler, Yoshiki, is seen as a moral and loving leader, but she claims that is just a facade. In reality, the citizens of the Kingdom are subject to constant surveillance, justified by the need to protect citizens. Anyone who shows the slightest disagreement with Yoshiki is immediately captured and forced to work under duress. Joker and his team decide to confront Yoshiki, for which they must free citizens imprisoned in military posts throughout the Kingdom.

To avoid the watchful eye of Yoshiki’s Legionnaires, whom he calls the Aizen Squad, the Phantom Thieves are taken by Yuki to a local kimono shop. After disguising themselves as samurai, geishas, and other citizens, the team decides to carry out Toshiro’s diversionary strategy to escape with the imprisoned citizens without harming them. Although the team’s plan is a success, his joy is short-lived, as Yoshiki descends from the sky, his serene appearance replaced by terrifying fury. Now the Phantom Thieves and their friends will face the full power of the ruler of this Kingdom.

Persona 5 Tactica is scheduled to launch globally on November 17 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. It will also be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers. With the world of Persona 5 Tactica taking shape, fans are looking forward to diving into this exciting adventure that promises new stories, characters, and challenges. Additionally, launch day DLC, featuring Goro Akechi and Kasumi Yoshizawa, promises to further expand the experience for fans of this beloved franchise.
