Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s DLC ‘The Hidden Treasure of Ground Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask’ releases on September 13


The exciting wait is about to end for fans of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, as “The Hidden Treasure of Ground Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask,” the downloadable content for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, will arrive on September 13, as announced by The Pokémon Company and developer Game Freak. As previously announced, “The Hidden Treasure of Ground Zero” will be released in two parts: “Part 1: The Teal Mask” on September 13, followed by “Part 2: The Indigo Disk” this winter. Below, we present the latest details.

The first adventure of “The Hidden Treasure of Ground Zero,” the new downloadable content for the hit video games Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, will arrive on September 13, 2023. In “Part 1: The Teal Mask,” players undertake a school trip to the land of Kitakami, where they join an outdoor study program held jointly between their academy and another school. Players can expect to meet Pokémon not found in the Paldea region, while unraveling the mysteries behind an ancient Kitakami legend.

A special in-game event, called “Get Mew and Mewtwo!”, will take place in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, marking the debut of the Mythical Pokémon Mew and the Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo in the Paldea region. From today until September 18, 2023 at 7:59 am PT, players will be able to add Mew to their team by entering the password GETY0URMEW in the Mystery Gift menu.

Additionally, a special Tera Raid Battle event will take place between August 31, 2023 at 5:00 pm PDT and September 17, 2023 at 4:59 pm PT. In this event, players will be able to challenge and capture a Mewtwo with the Most Powerful Mark.

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are now available for Nintendo Switch, and with the arrival of this exciting new content, players will be able to further expand their Pokémon experience on September 13.
