Armored Core VI: Image Editor and Personalization Screenshots Revealed

Bandai Namco’s Southeast Asia Twitter account has shared two screenshots of Armored Core VI which show the customization options of the Image Editor and Paint in the game. These options will allow players to design and customize their Armored Cores in unique ways. The first screenshot of the Image Editor shows how players will be able to create skins to customize their Armored Cores. The second screenshot, focused on the Painting section, shows some of the options available to change the appearance of a unit.

The Armored Core VI Image Editor screenshot reveals the presence of various image options in the game, as well as layer options for designing emblems and other designs. Players will be able to choose the position and arrange them in a grid to obtain a kind of final “decal”. In this case, two dragons, two swords, a banner, a helmet, a shield and a decorative emblem are combined to form a personalized coat of arms.

As for the screenshot of the Painting section of Armored Core VI, it focuses on the Aging area. It displays 23 different effects that can be applied to the entire housing of the unit. On the right side, the game shows what the Armored Core will look like with that effect applied.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC on August 25, 2023. Standard, collector, and premium editions of the game will be available. With these customization options and visual details, players can expect to immerse themselves in a deep and exciting customization experience when the game launches later this year.
