Quantum Error for PS5 will be released on November 3

In an exciting announcement, developer TeamKill Media has revealed that the highly anticipated horror game, Quantum Error, will arrive on the PlayStation 5 on November 3. This title promises a unique experience of cosmic horror that will leave players in suspense. While its arrival is eagerly awaited, those playing on Xbox Series and PC will have to wait a little longer, as the TeamKill Media team is still working on optimizing these versions and has not confirmed an official release date.

The plot of Quantum Error transports us to a dystopian future where artificial intelligence has been integrated into the daily lives of the inhabitants of the United States of America. The most powerful technology company in the world, Monad, has created the Advanced Retinal Global Unit System, known as ARGUS, to activate and control this AI, which has become mandatory for all people on Earth. Society is divided between the “necessary” and the “unnecessary”, and their activation or deactivation depends on the professions in which they work. This has led to the formation of militant groups in opposition to this oppressive norm.

In the year 2109, the Monad quantum research complex, located 30 miles off the coast of California, is attacked by an unknown entity. This attack causes a fire that consumes the complex and puts it into a complete containment lockdown state. In this emergency, a call for help is issued to the Garboa Fire Department in San Francisco, California. Fire Chief Sturgis responds to the call and sends Captain Jacob Thomas, his partner Shane Costa, and a helicopter crew to the Monad Complex.

What begins as a mission to save lives in the burning complex soon becomes a chilling cosmic journey that will take the protagonists from reality to other worlds, where they must fight for their lives and those of others. Quantum Error offers a cinematic experience driven by a first and third person narrative. Players will explore the depths of the Monad complex, with its advanced technologies and esoteric secrets, and even travel through interstellar space. Along the way, they will encounter enemies and bosses that will challenge their skills and understanding of the inexplicable, all while facing a terrifying cosmic horror that will plunge them into the unknown.
