Video game fans are about to be treated to an exciting event, as PLAYISM has announced the PLAYISM Game Show 2023, scheduled for August 20. Starting at 6:00 am PT / 9:00 am ET / 22:00 JST, players will have the opportunity to tune into the event on YouTube (in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese) and Niconico. During the one-hour broadcast, PLAYISM titles planned for release this fall and beyond will be announced, as well as other PLAYISM-related news.
The announcement of this event has generated great expectations in the community of players, eager to know the news and surprises that PLAYISM has prepared for them. Presenters for the event will include host Chiaki Matsuzawa and PLAYISM representative Shunji Mizutani. Additionally, J-mon will host an official livestream mirror.
Some confirmed titles that will be presented at the event include:
- EDEN.schemata();: A hand-drawn sci-fi mystery adventure game full of amnesia, murder and intrigue, developed by WSS playground and illuCalab.
- The Star Named EOS: A heartwarming narrative point-and-click puzzle game created by Silver Lining Studio, in which players will capture photographs and travel back in time to help a young photographer investigate the disappearance of his mother.
- Phantom Rose II Sapphire: A roguelike deckbuilder developed by makaroll, in which players will help Aria defend her beloved school from malevolent creatures with powerful cards.
