‘Cyberpunk 2077’ reveals exciting new features in ‘New Ways to Play’ trailer


The excitement for the world of Cyberpunk 2077 is renewed once again with the release of a new trailer and screenshots of the expansion “Phantom Liberty” titled “New Ways to Play”. CD Projekt RED studio has unveiled these exciting additions as part of Gamescom 2023: Opening Night Live, giving players a glimpse of the exciting additions coming soon to this acclaimed sci-fi role-playing game.

The trailer “New Ways to Play” compiles a series of new gameplay features that will be part of both the next expansion “Phantom Liberty” as from the free 2.0 update. This trailer revealed exclusive features that will come to the intrigue and espionage expansion “Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty”, including the “Relic” skill tree. This new skill tree offers a wide range of powerful abilities that allow players to master new playstyles and create unique and meaningful builds.

“Phantom Liberty” also introduces a dense new location called Dogtown, offering endless dynamic events and quests, exciting assignments, new costume items, weapons, cyberimplants and much more to explore. The trailer also highlighted the redesign of the game’s perk system, showcasing new perks that offer players more impactful gameplay options and the ability to defeat enemies in exciting and original ways.

One of the big renovations revealed in the trailer is the new police system. The police AI has been improved, meaning the NCPD will respond to player actions in more realistic and engaging ways, including setting up roadblocks, attempting to ram players, and more. Additionally, driving through Night City will be enriched with the introduction of vehicular combat, allowing the player to shoot while driving and quickly hack enemy vehicles from cars and motorcycles.

Redesigned skill trees, revamped police system, and vehicular combat will be available for free as part of the 2.0 update for “Cyberpunk 2077” on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. The main game “Cyberpunk 2077” It is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC through Steam, Epic Games and GOG. The expansion “Phantom Liberty” will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC on September 26. However, it will not be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.
