SteamWorld Build: The long-awaited construction game will arrive on December 1 on multiple platforms

Construction game lovers have an exciting date marked on their calendars, as Steam World Build is about to make its debut on various platforms. The publisher Thunderful Games and the developer The Station have announced that the game will arrive on December 1st for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC via Steam. In addition, it will also be available to subscribers of Xbox Game Pass.

In the words of the director of the franchise and the SteamWorld universe, Brjann Sigurgeirsson, “We’re really happy to finally reveal that SteamWorld Build will launch on December 1st and will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. “We’ve been sharing information about the game through our community-focused program, SteamWorld Telegraph, and everyone is invited to join us as we share more about the game between now and its release!”

The Station producer, Adam VasseeHe added: “We’ve worked hard to create a city builder in the style of Anno and Dungeon Keeper that works as well on consoles as it does on PC. “We have been blown away by the positive response the game has had from fans and press, and we are truly excited to continue the story of this award-winning franchise.”

Developed simultaneously for PC and console, every aspect of Steam World Build has been designed to ensure that the game works just as well with a controller in hand as it does with a mouse and keyboard, bringing a traditionally PC-centric genre to consoles without compromise. The game follows the series’ tradition of catering to both seasoned players and newcomers to the city-building genre.

As the architect of a SteamWorld mining town, you’ll have to build houses for your steambot citizens, keep them fed, and provide entertainment. Venture into the abandoned mine beneath your city, rumored to be filled with ancient technology that could be the key to escaping impending doom. Using the natural resources on the surface and the abundant minerals buried underground, expand your city and stimulate new residential levels to join the quest to dig deeper and discover unexplored riches.

The elements both on the surface and underground in Steam World Build They have an interdependent relationship, where everything you discover, extract or build contributes to what you can do when switching between the surface and the underground, and vice versa. These gears adjust to create a satisfying gameplay loop where you’re always progressing and engaged in the experience. Get ready for the launch of Steam World Build on December 1 and immerse yourself in the exciting experience of building and managing your own world.
