‘Dune: Spice Wars’ will be available in September

The wait is almost over for real-time strategy fans, as “Dune: Spice Wars” is preparing for its full release in September. Publisher Funcom and developer Shiro Games have announced that this game, which combines real-time strategy with 4X elements, will leave the Early Access stage and will be released in version 1.0 for PC via Steam.

“Dune: Spice Wars” initially debuted in Early Access on April 26, 2022. The game offers a unique strategy experience, set in the innovative Dune universe created by Frank Herbert. Players must lead their faction and fight for control and domination on the unforgiving desert planet of Arrakis. Spice is the most valuable resource in the universe, and in this game it extends life, expands consciousness, and enables interstellar travel.

Players will have the opportunity to create their own story and play as one of several factions, including Houses Atreides and Harkonnen, vying for power in Dune and control of the spice. However, facing the dangers of the desert will not be an easy task, as the fearsome sandworms threaten to devour both the troops and the spice gatherers.

With a combination of political intrigue, battles and espionage, “Dune: Spice Wars” promises to offer players a complete strategic experience in the Dune universe. With release scheduled for September, fans can anticipate a deep dive into the game’s rich narrative and challenging environment. Stay tuned for more details as the release date approaches.
