Edia seeks to finance the launch of ‘Cosmic Fantasy Collection 2’


The company Edia has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Makuake seeking 3 million yen (approximately $20,700) to finance the release of “Cosmic Fantasy Collection 2” for the Nintendo Switch console. The game is planned for release after December 2023 in Japan.

“Cosmic Fantasy Collection 2” will include three titles that will delight fans of this classic series. These titles are:

  1. “Cosmic Fantasy 3: Bouken Shounen Rei” (September 1992, PC Engine Super CD-ROM²)
  2. “Cosmic Fantasy 4: Ginga Shounen Densetsu – Totsunyuu-hen Densetsu no Prelude” (June 1994, PC Engine Super CD-ROM²)
  3. “Cosmic Fantasy 4: Ginga Shounen Densetsu – Gekitou-hen Hikari no Uchuu no Naka de…” (November 1994, PC Engine Super CD-ROM²)

The first installment of “Cosmic Fantasy Collection” was released for Nintendo Switch on December 15, 2022 in Japan. This sequel promises to take players back to a nostalgic era with its selection of classic titles.

The crowdfunding campaign on Makuake allows fans to support the project and contribute to its financing, which in turn gives them the opportunity to be a part of this exciting release. The success of the campaign will ensure that fans can enjoy “Cosmic Fantasy Collection 2” on the Nintendo Switch, with its collection of classic games ready to be rediscovered by a new generation of players.
