The Thaumaturge will arrive on PC in 2023 through Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG

Publisher 11 bit studios and developer Fool’s Theory have announced that The Thaumaturge, an upcoming RPG, will be released for PC in 2023 via platforms like Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. Additionally, the official story trailer, titled “Dear Wiktor,” has also been released.

In The Thaumaturge, a thaumaturge is a miracle worker who carries with him both a gift and a burden at the same time. This duality is reflected in Wiktor Szulski, the game’s titular protagonist, who finds himself dragged back to the tumultuous streets of 20th century Warsaw due to family matters. The gift of thaumaturgy is intertwined with the family legacy, passed down through Wiktor’s ancestors. This mystical heritage significantly shapes Wiktor’s life journey. In turn, his sister Ligia deeply fears that her brother will endanger his life in the search for supernatural entities and his hosts. As only a thaumaturge can tame these ethereal entities, known to a few as “Salutors,” using their mystical abilities to uncover secrets hidden within the human soul and speak to the Darkness, no one understands as well as Wiktor how everyone suffers from their own demons.

This intriguing game promises to take players into a world where the supernatural and the familiar are uniquely intertwined, exploring the challenges and emotions of Wiktor as he confronts his own demons and family secrets. Stay tuned for more details on this exciting title that will undoubtedly captivate RPG lovers.
