AKI will arrive in Street Fighter 6 on September 27

Capcom has revealed exciting news for fans of Street Fighter 6 announcing that the downloadable character AKI will arrive on September 27. Players who own the Deluxe Edition, Ultimate Edition, or Year 1 Character Pass will be able to unlock AKI for their enjoyment. Additionally, those who wish to try out AKI will be able to do so for free for one hour using a Rental Fighter ticket, which can be obtained through the in-game Fighter Pass.

AKI is inspired by his teacher FANG., who was first introduced in Street Fighter V. In the single-player World Tour mode, players will be able to learn more about AKI’s interest in the malevolent organization Shadaloo and help her find her herbal medicine in Tian Hong Yuan, a new location where players can meet their new Master and apply his deadly moves to their personalized avatar. Some of her lethal moves include:

  • Serpent Lash: From a distance, AKI throws her nails forward like a chain, poisoning enemies she reaches. When he hits an opponent who is already poisoned, he will unleash an explosion called Toxic Blossom and open up enemies for further attacks.
  • Nightshade Pulse: AKI shoots a bubble forward that also poisons enemies it hits. She can hit the bubble with Nightshade Chaser to pop it beforehand, increasing its area of effect.
  • Orchid Spring: AKI places a pool of poison in front of her that will affect opponents who enter it.
  • Sinister Slide– Slides across the screen to avoid threats while sneaking forward and performing follow-up moves like Venomous Fang, Heel Strike, or Entrapment.
  • Claws of Ya Zi: AKI’s Level 3 Super Art pierces several pressure points on an opponent’s body and injects a poison that explodes dangerously from within.

AKI and her stylish Outfit 2 will be available to owners of the Year 1 Character Pass, Deluxe Edition, or Ultimate Edition on September 27. Don’t miss your chance to experience her venom in the exciting world of Street Fighter 6! The game is now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series and PC via Steam.
