MyDearest announces virtual reality first-person shooter “Brazen Blaze”

Studio MyDearest, known for its titles Tokyo Chronos and DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate, has excited fans by announcing its upcoming virtual reality first-person shooter, Brazen Blaze. This title is scheduled for release on “major virtual reality platforms” in 2024, and a Steam page is now available. Registrations for the closed alpha are currently available through the MyDearest Discord channel, with official invites to be sent out later in September.

An anarcho-capitalist world and a fight for the global presidency

Brazen Blaze is set in an anarcho-capitalist world where the only thing stopping society from falling into a complete dystopia is an international combat tournament to determine the President of the world. Contestants travel around the world to battle it out in evocative real-world locations. The fight is taken to the streets with multiple unique characters in three-on-three online multiplayer battles in virtual reality. Players will need to run, jump, grab, shoot and punch using enormously powerful gauntlets to drive their opponents off the stage and claim victory. Each character has their own special attack that defies the rules: causing explosions, spending too much money, setting things on fire, etc. They say you can’t be a good person and be a good president, and these characters live that maxim.

An exciting virtual reality experience in perspective

Brazen Blaze promises to offer players an exciting and unique virtual reality experience that will immerse them in a world where the fight for global presidency takes center stage. The opportunity to participate in the closed alpha through the MyDearest Discord will allow players to experience this new title before its official release.

Get ready to become a “bad enough badass” to be the president in Brazen Blaze when it hits major VR platforms in 2024.
