Nintendo has released a new trailer and screenshots of Super Mario RPG as part of today’s Nintendo Direct stream. Find out the latest details below.
The Super Nintendo Entertainment System game returns with updated graphics and new features. Mario and Bowser form an unprecedented alliance to face a fearsome enemy, and they are joined by Princess Peach and the original characters Mallow and Geno.
In battle, time your button presses with action commands to increase damage dealt or reduce damage taken. Now, when you time your attacks perfectly, you can damage all enemies at once. Successful action commands will fill the action gauge, which, when full, will unleash a three-character triple move. The triple move changes depending on your current party, so try different combinations.
Just like in the original game, you will encounter bosses with colorful personalities on your adventure. This time, once you’ve completed the game, you’ll be able to challenge some of them again, but these powered-up bosses won’t be easy!
Super Mario RPG will be released for Switch on November 17 worldwide.
