
Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa has told investors at the latest question and answer session that both Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza are only possible due to the increased hardware power of the Nintendo Switch 2 and wouldn’t be possible on the current Nintendo Switch system. While Furukawa didn’t get into specifics it would likely be down to Mario Kart World’s large open world nature and Donkey Kong Bananza’s almost fully destructive environments.
