Tintin Reporter: The Cigars of the Pharaoh Coming to Multiple Platforms in November


Tintin Reporter: The Cigars of the Pharaoh will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on November 7, publisher Microids and developer Pendulo Studios announced. The Switch version will be released in 2024. The game will be available in standard, limited, and collector’s editions.

The limited edition will include a copy of the game, a SteelBook and three postcards. The Collector’s Edition includes the contents of the limited edition, plus a notebook, a 160-page art book, and an original figure.

This new video game, inspired by one of the iconic adventures from the comic series “The Adventures of Tintin” created by Hergé, marks the return of the famous reporter to the world of interactive entertainment. The story follows Tintin and his faithful companion Snowy as they embark on a quest in search of the tomb of Pharaoh Kih-Oskh after meeting Professor Sarcophagus in the Mediterranean. Throughout their journey from Egypt to India, passing through Arabia, they will investigate a gigantic drug trafficking network in the East.

Tintin Reporter: The Cigars of the Pharaoh immerses the player in mysterious Egypt and other lands of infinite beauty, with elements of adventure and investigation. Players will step into the shoes of an investigator and reporter, searching for clues, infiltrating and solving puzzles with investigative dialogues enriched with video sequences, infiltration phases and even plane or car chases.

This game offers unique and innovative gameplay that allows everyone to live the adventure like a real reporter. Don’t miss the launch of Tintin Reporter: The Cigars of the Pharaoh on November 7 on multiple platforms, with the Switch version scheduled for 2024.
