NIS America announces The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered for multiple platforms in 2024


NIS America has announced the launch of The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered, a turn-based RPG, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch and PC (Steam). The game will arrive in early 2024. This remastered version is based on the original Nintendo 3DS game, The Legend of Legacy, which was first released on January 22, 2015.

The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered development team includes several industry veterans who have worked on the SaGa and Final Fantasy series, including designer Kyoji Koizumi, promotional illustrator Tomomi Kobayashi, art director Masayo Asano, character designer Ryo Hirao and monster designer Yuichiro Kojima.

The pre-sales of the limited edition, which has a price of $79.99, are now available in the NIS America online store. This edition includes a copy of the game, a digital soundtrack, a mini art book, a 55-page “Chronicles of Avalon” art book, an original album soundtrack composed by Masashi Hamauzu, a cloth poster, seven art cards and a collector’s box.

The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered takes place on the mysterious island of Avalon, discovered ten years ago and shrouded in legends. The continent is said to have been forged by gods and elementals, and is home to legendary treasures of immense power. Many brave men have attempted to venture into the lands of Avalon. Will you be next? Follow the stories of seven heroes as they explore these pristine lands to fulfill their unique desires. Each of them has individual skills and stories. Manage battle formations and specific combat roles to gain the advantage and harness the ancient power of the elementals by creating contracts in the middle of battle to summon powerful abilities.
