London-based studio Lucky Mountain Games has announced “Heroes of Forever“, an exciting first-person shooter for PlayStation VR2. Players will take on the role of an agent of Time Enforcement Command (TEC), an organization in charge of maintaining order in the multiverse. Your mission will be to stop the corruption that wreaks havoc across time and space.
In “Heroes of Forever,” players will travel across dimensions and timelines to confront enemies and stop crises that threaten to irreversibly alter history. Each mission will be action-packed and challenging, with the need to dodge enemy fire and use the environment creatively to successfully advance.
Fast-paced gameplay is combined with the ability to climb scores in a cooperative game mechanic. The game will offer a multiplayer mode with support for up to four players, allowing friends to join together on exciting missions across time.
“Heroes of Forever” draws inspiration from the light-up games and arcade shooters of the 1990s, fusing this style with narrative elements from classic action films, especially those of science fiction from the 1980s and 1990s. Players can expect nods to movies, games, and other media throughout the game.
The experience is made even richer thanks to the technology of PlayStation VR2. 3D audio provides immersive soundscapes, while dynamic lighting enhances low-poly visuals to create a fresh feel in retro settings.
Additionally, PlayStation VR2 haptics are used to give weight and realistic recoil to the game’s weapons, influencing level design and providing a unique gameplay experience.
The game strives to unite players of various backgrounds and experience levels in an action-packed arcade-style gaming experience. Game modes will be designed to accommodate all players, whether they wish to enjoy the story alone, join other agents in cooperative play or compete on online leaderboards.
“Heroes of Forever” will be accessible to both new and veteran VR users, with comfort options and adjustable difficulty modes.
Get ready to embark on an exciting adventure across the multiverse with “Heroes of Forever” in 2024 on PlayStation VR2.
