“Journey to Foundation” is coming to PlayStation VR2, Quest 2 and Pico 4 on October 26

Developer Archiact has announced that “Journey to Foundation” will be released for PlayStation VR2, Quest 2 and Pico 4 on October 26. This game promises to take players into the fascinating universe of Isaac Asimov’s series and offer a unique immersive experience.

In “Journey to Foundation,” players take on the role of Agent Ward, a character with unique mental abilities that allow them to perceive and manipulate the emotions of others. The game takes advantage of the unique features of PlayStation VR2 to make these interactions more satisfying and immersive, including using head-touch capabilities to simulate the manipulation of emotions.

Additionally, the gaming experience is enriched with haptic feedback, making players feel like they are in the middle of the action when a star explodes or a spaceship crashes. Dialogue options are chosen by glance, allowing players to select conversations simply by looking at the desired option and pressing “X.”

In an innovative approach, players can interact with the environment by searching for visual cues called “Look At” found throughout the game. Additionally, there are items scattered throughout the game that unlock unique dialogue and new gameplay options.

The game also offers customization through special chips called ADMs (Atomic Defense Modules) that can be placed in the base weapon to improve and change its operation, providing access to different types of weapons.

Virtual reality is made the most of with gestures used in conversations. For example, when an opponent points a gun, you don’t press a button to surrender, but instead raise your hands. PlayStation’s outward-facing sensors validate these gestural moments, adding another layer of immersion.

The “Foundation” series is set in a galaxy in crisis, and the game uses 4K resolution and the processing power of the device to deliver a stunning visual spectacle. Players will be able to experience the grandeur of space and the stars with this combination of intriguing narrative and cutting-edge technology.

Get ready to embark on an exciting journey through the “Foundation” universe starting October 26 on the aforementioned virtual reality platforms.
