Microids, in collaboration with Bilibili, has announced that they will release the roguelike action game Warm Snow, developed by Chinese studio BadMudStudio, on October 20. The game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC through the Microsoft Store, priced at $19.99.
Warm Snow made its debut on PC via Steam on January 18, 2022 globally, followed by its release on iOS and Android on December 15, 2022 in China. Since then, it has sold more than two million units.
The game features a dark fantasy world where the mysterious “Warm Snow” has absolute control. Players take on the role of the warrior “Bi An” on a crusade against the Five Great Clans to save a world on the brink of destruction. In the 27th year of the Longwu era, a strange warm snowfall refuses to melt and throws the world into chaos, turning people into uncontrollable monsters. As “Bi An”, a mysterious warrior wandering this dark eastern fantasy universe, your mission is to confront the five clans that used to protect the world and free them from corruption, finally defeating the White Lotus.
