The improved remake of the first-person shooter “Kingpin: Reloaded” will arrive in December

Kingpin: Reloadedthe long-awaited remake of the first-person shooter, will be released for PC via Steam on December 5. Publishers 3D Realms and Interplay, along with developer Slipgate Ironworks, have announced this exciting news. A release date for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch versions has yet to be revealed.

Kingpin: Reloaded, based on the Quake II engine, brings new life to this classic. It will offer stunning 4K resolution, support for ultrawide displays, and enhanced graphics in its “Enhanced” mode, allowing this stylized metropolitan art deco noir nightmare to shine like never before.

Controller support makes the game more accessible to anyone looking to delve into the depths of Kingpin’s depravity. Additionally, general improvements have been made, such as a new quest and conversation system, that make Reloaded even better than the original.

Kingpin: Reloaded immerses you in the lamp-lit streets, where you must defeat rival gangs to let the King of Crime know that his end is near. Immersive simulation elements allow the protagonist to recruit other gangsters through a conversation system, increasing his influence in base-focused missions.

The action unfolds in a violent crusade with upgradeable weapons including Tommy guns, rocket launchers and more. The location-based damage system will take you into exciting blood-filled battles, where you can aim for the knees, maim or go straight for the head. If this sounds too extreme, you can always try “No Violence” mode, although the “colorful” gangster language from Kingpin is still present. If you want a more authentic experience of the era, you can also delve into the “Gang Bang” multiplayer mode.
