The story takes place in autumn, with the leaves beginning to change color, when a boy arrives at the Yunagi village. The first person he meets is a girl handing out flyers, an adorable waitress with cat ears. “P-Please come to Cafe Setaria! We hope to see you!” Guided by the waitress, he enters the store and meets another girl with similar ears. Noticing her strange reaction, she asks, “Can you, perhaps, see these ears?” The girls are therianthropes, they explain. Normal people can’t see their ears and tails. Now that he knows her secret, the boy finds himself involved in working alongside them at the cafe. He will soon discover all the strange and interesting differences between his races. It’s just another day at Cafe Setaria.
