Murder Mystery Paradox: Fifteen Years of Summer is a text-based adventure game. Immerse yourself in the remote and sparsely populated island of Shikinejima and try to solve the strange mystery that repeats itself there over and over again.
We are set in August 2004. Shikinejima, an isolated island where only a few hundred people call home. Fifteen-year-old Itsuki Amazawa has come to visit the island for the first time. At his adoptive mother’s childhood home, he and his newly met cousins spend summer days in peace and quiet. However, Itsuki discovers the truth about the island… Strange incidents known to locals as the “Shikinejima Disappearances” have been occurring around the island. And deeply entangled in these enigmas are people Itsuki cares about. Can he discover the truth and save those he cares about?
“The culprit is one of us.” Your objective is to investigate this isolated island and expose the person responsible for the incidents. However, you are also a suspect, which subjects you to the scrutiny of others. Unravel the mystery before time runs out, talking to suspects to gather clues and deduce the truth. At the same time, you must clear your own name by earning the trust of those around you. If you fail to gain enough trust before it’s over, you could find yourself as the villain…
