Publisher and developer Hibernian Workshop, along with publisher Maple Whispering, have announced that the side-scrolling roguelite platformer, Astral Ascentwill leave Early Access and will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on November 14.
An exciting experience in a modern fantasy world
Astral Ascent is a 2D roguelite platformer set in a modern fantasy world. Players take on the role of one of four heroes with very different personalities, who must escape from the Garden, an astral prison guarded by 12 powerful and vicious bosses known as the Zodiacs. Throughout the game, players will be able to unlock dozens of unique spells for their four different characters and optimize their build to take on the formidable bosses.
A constant fight for survival
Throughout the game, players will face off against the Zodiacs, 12 experienced guardians arranged across four beautiful worlds. Each of them will bring unique attacks, abilities and patterns to the battlefield, as well as personal stories to discover. Astral Ascent is a roguelite that combines storytelling, meaning that replayability is essential to discovering the story, the characters’ motives, and the secrets of the world in which they are trapped.
Cooperative mode and expansive worlds
Astral Ascent offers two-player cooperative mode, allowing players to fight together in local or online matches using the Steam Remote Play Together feature.

Players will be able to explore original, hand-crafted areas in a world with beautiful art designs and detailed animations. Astral Ascent promises a visually stunning experience.
