Vertigo Games has announced that the exciting action-adventure first-person shooter in virtual reality, Arizona Sunshine II, will be available December 7 on PlayStation VR 2, SteamVR and Quest. The Quest version is a recent addition, and pre-sales are now available.
Arizona Sunshine II takes advantage of cutting-edge virtual reality technology to take zombie slaying to a new level. Players will experience the thrill of next-generation VR gameplay, with full manual reloading and new ranged weapons like fiery flamethrowers that expand an arsenal already beloved by fans.
An all-new melee combat system introduces weapons like machetes, crowbars, and ice picks to bring the apocalypse up close and personal as you experience realistic dismemberments and advanced mutilations. As players loot and build their ultimate team, ways to take out Freds are plentiful – even severed limbs can be used to hit a Fred!
Additionally, the fan-favorite co-op mode returns, with more details to be revealed soon. In Arizona Sunshine II, your faithful canine companion Buddy takes a leading role. Not only is Buddy the best friend for playing fetch with the undead, but he’ll also help you defeat pesky Freds, discover key items, and carry your gear. Accompanied by Buddy, a new cinematic narrative campaign will take you on a next-level virtual reality roller coaster that can be enjoyed without prior knowledge of the events of Arizona Sunshine.
