Developer Steel Wool Studios announced that Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 will be available for PlayStation VR2 starting December 14. The sequel promises to deliver a dynamic experience that will entice players to repeatedly immerse themselves in Freddy’s terrifying world.
Executive producer Ray McCaffrey shared the latest details on the PlayStation Blog, explaining that the main goal when designing Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 was to make it dynamic enough that players would want to repeatedly immerse themselves in it. Maintaining the spirit of the original, the new installment features a variety of mini-games that offer unique experiences every time you play.
Six Categories of Minigames:
- Backstage: Become a VIP at the Pizzaplex Salon with Roxanne Wolf, who enjoys being close to her fans as she prepares for the stage.
- Fazcade: Enjoy classic games like Bonk-a-Bon and Fazerblast on the Fazcade, where precision and quick reflexes are key.
- Staff Only: Join the security team and perform basic first aid for guests who are not feeling well, with the added bonus of curing unusual illnesses.
- Food Prep: Take charge of food preparation at El Chips and meet the mandatory amount of value according to federal regulations.
- Ticket Booth: Embark on Captain Foxy’s Cowboy Adventure on a ride through the Old West.
- Special Category: Immerse yourself in the world of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location, with personalized virtual reality experiences.
Enhanced Experience with PlayStation VR2: Thanks to the unique features of the PlayStation VR2 headset, developers have enhanced the horror experience with controller haptic effects, 3D audio, and more. The vibration inside the headset has been synced to the scariest moments, adding a level of physicality to the scares that wasn’t possible before.
In addition, the PlayStation VR2 eye tracking system will allow the fortune teller Mystic Hippo to read players’ minds in an exclusive PlayStation 5 minigame. The experience is completed with cards, predictions and the possibility of blocking their vision for the most daring.
With these improvements and new experiences, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 is preparing to offer fans an even more immersive and terrifying experience in the Freddy universe starting December 14.
